Seams Sew was ‘born’ at the time when I became a new mumma at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic here in Naarm/Melbourne.

The name “Seams Sew” came from me thinking that starting legitimising my hobby seemed so right. Hence why the name Seams Sew arose.

I did my first sewing project over 20 years ago but I took a significant break and didn’t get back into it until more recent times when getting behind the machine whilst our baby slept filled me with a huge sense of enjoyment. I find sewing is a beautiful craft, it’s relaxed, adaptable and I step into the role of thinker, doer and creator.

Everything is lovingly made by me, in my home in the northern suburbs of Naarm. I am always up for collaborations & connections with other artists/thinkers/makers, so please feel free to reach out.
